Launch on Shopify the right way, the first time.
For established businesses already making sales, now moving onto Shopify for the first time. Fixed scope, fixed price. Three to four weeks, start to launch.
Who this is for.
The Launch Sprint is not for first-time entrepreneurs. It is for businesses already generating revenue, offline, through wholesale, or via another channel, that are now ready to go direct to consumer on Shopify.
That is a different problem from starting from scratch. You have products, pricing, and brand assets. What you need is a senior engineer who can move quickly without creating technical debt you spend the next two years cleaning up.
I have built Shopify stores for brands ranging from regional retailers to funded consumer companies. The sprint packages that experience into a defined scope at a fixed price: $5,000, paid 50% at kickoff and 50% at launch.
- Established offline business going online. Retail chain, regional brand, or local service business with real revenue finally launching DTC.
- Wholesale or B2B brand adding a direct channel. Already selling to retailers or distributors. Adding a consumer channel with urgency.
- Funded brand staying lean. Has the budget for senior work, not for a $50K agency engagement.
If your project involves migrating from another platform, custom Shopify Functions, headless builds, or ERP integrations, that is not a Launch Sprint. Get in touch and I will scope it properly.
- Theme selection and customization (premium theme, professionally tuned)
- Product catalog setup, up to roughly 100 SKUs
- App stack configuration: Klaviyo, subscriptions, shipping and 3PL, reviews
- Payment, tax, and shipping configuration
- Domain, email, and SEO foundations
- Launch checklist and 95+ Lighthouse target
- 30 days post-launch support
- Custom theme development from blank
- Custom Shopify Functions or extensions
- Platform migrations (see /services/shopify-migrations)
- B2B portal setup
- Custom integrations (ERP, custom 3PL, etc.)
- Headless builds
- Ongoing operations (that is the retainer)
The sprint runs three to four weeks depending on your catalog size and readiness. Here is how it breaks down.
Week 1, Days 1 to 2: Kickoff and decisions
Theme selection. Brand assets. App stack decisions. Product data prep.
Week 1, Days 3 to 5: Build
Theme customization. Product upload. App configuration. Payment and shipping setup.
Weeks 2 to 3: Polish and QA
Performance tuning. Mobile QA. Test transactions. SEO foundations. Additional catalog work if needed.
Week 3 to 4: Launch
Domain cutover. Email warmup. Launch checklist. Handoff documentation.
Days after launch: Post-launch support
30 days of embedded support included. Bug fixes, app tweaks, small additions.
$5,000 fixed. Paid 50% at kickoff, 50% at launch.
Not included in that price: a premium theme license (you buy directly, typically $200 to $400), app subscriptions (on your accounts), and any custom work outside the in-scope list (priced separately if it comes up).
Why $5,000 when a freelancer would do this for $1,500?
At $1,500 you get someone learning Shopify on your project. The Launch Sprint is senior work. The difference shows up in your conversion rate, your load times, and how much you regret the build six months in.
Can you do less than the full sprint for less money?
No. The sprint is fixed scope and the pricing assumes the whole thing. Partial scope at a lower price is project work, not the sprint.
What if I am not sure my project fits?
Send me a note with a bit about your store and where you are in the process. I will tell you whether the sprint is the right fit or point you toward a better alternative.
Can the sprint convert into a retainer?
Often does. Brands that go through the sprint and start generating real Shopify revenue usually want ongoing engineering support a few months in. The retainer is there when you are ready.
